We are a boutique firm focused solely on disputes. We are not on panels and do not need to run conflict checks across multiple teams. This means we are almost always conflict free and able act against banks and large corporations where many other City firms can’t. We can run and conclude a conflict check rapidly, so that we can swiftly accept instructions, particularly in urgent cases.

But we don’t simply talk about new ideas – we implement and continuously improve on them to create efficient and cost-effective solutions. Our lawyers are inventive and flexible so we can be responsive to client needs when they arise. We operate using the latest technology including AI, we are paperless and committed to collaborating remotely including through the conduct of remote hearings.

Whether it’s cost, speed or conceiving and litigating novel legal arguments that set precedents, we look to go that extra mile.
4. We’re dynamic
Our dynamic approach enables us to rapidly scale up to meet the needs of a particular client or dispute. Working with leading barristers’ chambers and through our network of consultants, we can quickly add lawyers to the team in a manner that avoids clients having to pay for standing overhead costs within hourly rates. In cases involving extensive documentary evidence, we work with third party e-discovery consultants using the latest big data analytics and predictive coding to quickly ascertain the factual matrix.
5. We’re value-driven
We focus on delivering a high level of value and efficiency in everything we do, approaching every instruction with a firm eye on delivering return on investment through unique, tailored solutions. Clients receive regular budgeting and costs information and we are experts in value engineering dispute resolution. We help our clients hedge the risk of a dispute either by, in appropriate cases, sharing some of the risk through conditional fee or damages-based agreements or by arranging litigation funding through our network of litigation funders.
