Keidan Harrison LLP is delighted to welcome Alex Akin to Keidan Harrison as an associate solicitor.

Alex is the fourth associate to join the firm since it commenced trading in May 2020.

Alex qualified as a solicitor in June 2019 and joins the firm from Elborne Mitchell, a specialist insurance firm. His practice focuses on a broad range of commercial disputes often with a cross-border element. During his time at Elborne Mitchell he was involved with the Court of Appeal decision in Lamesa Investments Limited v Cynergy Bank Limited (application of US secondary sanctions to English Law) and spent time on secondment to a Lloyd’s underwriter. Alex focused on commercial litigation during his training contract with one year spent at London dispute boutique Gresham Legal.

Prior to his legal career, Alex lived and worked abroad (China and Israel) and so brings a sound understanding of different cultures and business environments to his practice.

I am very pleased that Alex has joined the Keidan Harrison team to assist with our growing workload. He has had a strong grounding in acting in high value and complex disputes and we are looking forward to him developing his career together with us. In particular, Alex will be assisting me to develop further work for clients based in Israel”, said Partner Marc Keidan.
